On May 25 the elections of Kyiv Mayor and Kyiv city council took place.

According to the processed protocols of 227 polling stations (it is about 20 % of polling stations), Leonid Chernovetsky obtains 37,47% of votes.

Such information was published by the Kyiv city territorial election committee.

Oleksander Turchynov holds the second place with 18, 37% of votes, Vitaliy Klychko obtains 17, 48%, Viktor Pylypyshyn - 6,31%, Mykola Katerynchuk - 4, 25%, Oleksander Omelchenko - 2,5%, Vasyl Horbal - 2,47%, Oleh Tyahnybok - 1,36%, Olexander Pabata – 1, 31%. Other candidates obtained less than 1 %.

Also, according to the processed protocols from 253 polling stations, 7 political parties and blocs enter the Kyiv city council. In particular, the bloc of Leonid Chernovetsky obtains 30,46% of votes, the BYuT – 22,17%, the bloc of Klychko - 10,6%, the bloc of Lytvyn – 7,93%, “Civil activists of Kyiv” – 5,9%, the Party of Regions – 4,12%, the bloc of Katerynchuk – 3,36%.
