President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko will pay working visits to Lithuania and Israel on May 12-13. Press secretary of the President, Iryna Vannikova informed at a briefing.

According to the press secretary, the visit to Lithuania is dedicated to prospects of development of bilateral relations of the two countries. During the visit the meeting of the Presidents of the two States, sitting of the Council of the Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania will be held. Besides, meetings of the President of Ukraine with the Prime Minister of Israel and representatives of the Lithuanian parliament are foreseen too.

The Head of the Ukrainian State will visit the Museum of genocide sacrifices and open the exhibition about Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-33.

According to Vannikova, in Israel the President will take part in celebrations on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Israeli State foundation.
