Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko represented new head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Andriy Portnov. Tymoshenko stated at the press conference today.
Tymoshenko noted that Portnov today fulfills duties of the State Property Fund.
As a reminder, on February 6 the Cabinet of Ministers discharged Valentyna Semenyuk from the position of the head of the State Property Fund and appointed Portnov as the acting head.
The Cabinet also appointed new deputies chairman of the State Property Fund.
But on February 7 President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko by his degree stopped the Cabinet’s resolution on Valentyna Semenyuk discharge from the position of the State Property Fund head. The President also sent the corresponding submission to the Constitutional Court concerning the constitutionality of the Cabinet’s resolution.
