President Viktor Yushchenko held phone conversation with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. President's press office reports.
During the conversation the two Presidents discussed questions of bilateral relations between the countries, including stirring up signature of Ukrainian-Russian border demarcation agreement, intergovernmental commission’s work, future opening of Ukrainian icon and sculpture exhibition in Moscow, etc.
“I appreciate the level of relations between the Presidents of two countries. I have never felt discomfort in dialogue on the highest level… regardless of the subjects we have been discussing,”- Viktor Yushchenko said later to journalists in Lviv.
