Today the independent testing of Ukrainian language and literature of the school-leavers will take place for the first time in Ukraine. The testing will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Minister of Science and Education Ivan Vakarchuk states about 100% readiness for the external independent testing of school-leavers. The Minister has said in an interview with journalists.
“We are 100% ready and very qualitative,” Vakarchuk said.
“I think that for all our history of independence such work has never taken place, in particular in the education in national scale,” Vakarchuk said.
He has reminded that more than 512 thousand of children all around Ukraine are registered. “In two hours it will be known how many of them will come for testing,” he said.
He has reminded that the results of testing are compulsory for entering higher educational institutions.
At the same time he has rejected to comment on the position of both the President and the Prime Minister concerning the independent testing.
