Today the fifth session of the Government Committee on European Integration and International Cooperation chaired by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Hryhoriy Nemyrya was held. Cabinet's press office reports.

The session saw consideration of a number of important normative-legal acts in the sphere of international relations.

According to the results of the discussion, drafts of the Decree and Order of the President of Ukraine, correspondingly, on head of Ukrainian part of the Joint Ukrainian-Uzbek Commission on overall cooperation and on head of Ukrainian part of the Joint Inter-Government Ukrainian-Georgian Commission on economic cooperation have been approved. These normative-legal acts suggest appointing Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko a head of Ukrainian part of the above-mentioned commissions.

It has been also decided to support under relevant revision, in accordance with Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, submitted by the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine and State Service of Motor Roads of Ukraine a draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on preparation of a common with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development project “Improvement of motor roads and traffic security” as well as submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine a draft Order of the President of Ukraine “On authorization of Head of the Ukrainian Mission to NATO Ihor Sahach for signing an Agreement (in the form of an Exchange of Letters) between Ukraine and North Atlantic Treaty Organization on Ukraine’s participation in operation of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan and Financial Agreement (in the form of an Exchange of Letters) between Ukraine and North Atlantic Treaty Organization connected with Ukraine’s participation in operations of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan”.
