The “exclusive interview” of VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk with newspaper “Izvestiya” is a “free narration” of some Speaker’s statements, which were chosen deliberately by the journalist, who wrote the article. The press-service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informs.

The press service of the Verkhovna Rada notes that Yatsenyuk did not give any interview to this newspaper.

“The material does not reflect the position of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as a politician and an official,” the statement says.

As ForUm earlier reported, according to the newspaper “Izvestiya”, Arseniy Yatsenyuk considers Ukraine’s joining NATO Membership Action Plan at Bucharest summit in April as untimely, and that disagreements between Viktor Yushchenko and Yulia Tymoshenko are on ideological level.
