President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has congratulated Vladimir Klichko on victory for title of absolute world boxing champion.
“Your high sport skills, heroic forces, self-mastery and spirit arouse deep respect. We are full of feelings of national pride for you and your victory,” the greeting statement says.
"Let you achievement in boxing inspire the sportsmen, trainers and youth to such courageous sport and be a holiday for your fans.
I wish you belief in own forces, health, happiness and new sport achievements in the name of the fatherland".
On February 24 Ukrainian boxer Vladimir Klichko won the fight over Russian boxer Sultan Ibragimov.
