on Thursday President Viktor Yushchenko held a press conference summarizing his two day work at the World Economic Forum, according to president's press office.

First of all the President stressed that currently Ukraine conducts a very active economic policy thus providing favorable conditions for foreign investments. As an example of a promising project V. Yushchenko named preparation for Euro-2012.

Ukraine also has many companies which it can offer for privatization such as JSC Ukrtelecom or Kryvyi Rih oxidized ore-dressing and processing enterprise. According to the President, the list of such companies is being currently prepared.

V.Yushchenko also invited business groups to participate in cooperation in energy field. Here of potential interest may be such projects as transporting Caspian oil to the EU countries, building a new oil-refinery in Ukraine to work on Caspian oil as well as expanding oil and gas transporting pipeline infrastructure.

President assured potential investors that political situation in Ukraine is currently stable and safe for fruitful cooperation.

Speaking about Ukraine’s integration with NATO within the scope of Russian-Ukrainian relations President said that this question is exclusively of internal nature. At the same time Ukraine is ready to discuss this subject with the Russian side.

“I am positive that we shall find multiple ways of how to show respect to common problems and at the same time to show respect to each side’s choice without complicating relations between us,”  Yushchenko said.
