On Tuesday the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will not consider a question concerning the appointment of Valentyn Nalyvaychenko to the position of the chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine. People’s deputy of Ukraine, member of the OU-PSD faction, Yuriy Klyuchkovsky has told journalists on Tuesday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to him, this question had to be considered on Tuesday, but later there was taken a decision that all staff questions would be considered on Friday, January 18.

Klyuchkovsky has expressed a hope that candidacy of Nalyvaychenko will receive necessary quantity of votes with the help of support of members of the bloc of Lytvyn.

As earlier reported, on December 19 President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko submitted to the VRU a candidacy of Nalyvaychenko for a position of the chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine.

For today Nalyvaychenko is an acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
