Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated that state budget 2008 does not foresee financing of benefits to members of government and parliament. ForUm reports referring to the Cabinet press service.

“There will be no flats and excessive pensions. Work in the government is self-sacrifice but not making money,” Tymoshenko stressed.

“All benefits will be cancelled in 2008. We consider there is no necessity to plan benefits for People’s deputies and members of government. It is better to foresee increase of pensions and salaries for people,” Tymoshenko said, having noted that budget 2008 does not foresee benefits and granting flats for members of government and parliament.
