Foreign Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Ogryzko claims that for Ukraine there is no alternative to normal relations with the Russian Federation.
“We have no other choice but to have good relations with the Russian Federation. There is no alternative to normal relations with the Russian Federation,” he told journalists on Saturday in Kyiv.
Ogryzko has emphasized that Ukraine will build relations with Russia on the principles of equality, respect, mutual benefit, and on the basis of respect of the right of choice. “These are the key principles of normal relations with all countries. Moreover, we want normal relations to be with the Russian Federation,” he added.
“And as to some episodes that occur – they will remain just the episodes,” the Foreign Minister noted.
