President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko congratulated workers and veterans of bodies of Interior Affairs on their professional day – Day of police.
“You have chosen noble way of service to Ukrainian people, defense of rights and freedom of every person. Development of society is estimated by level of professionalism of your job, protection of citizens and order in the country,” he said.
According to the President, today we form modern, effective system of bodies of Interior Affairs that must become a basis for further development of Ukraine as European democratic state.
“On this important way of political development of Ukraine we need your professionalism, energy, devotion,” the President said, having assured that the State in turn will take care about those who provide law and order.
