The faction of the Party of Regions continues negotiations with the faction of the communists concerning the nomination of Raisa Bohatyryova, representative of the Party of Regions, to the position of the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada. Olexander Stoyan, member of the Party of Regions, informed.
“Now the situation has changed, and we hold negotiations concerning nomination of Raisa Bohatyryova. But the faction of the communists has laid down some conditions,” Stoyan said.
The People’s deputy has emphasized that the faction of the Party of Regions reckon on compromise with its partners. “There is another variant. Even if the communists don’t agree, anyway we will be able to nominate Bohatyryova to the position of the first vice speaker. But we don’t want to have a conflict with our partners,” he explained.
As earlier reports, the opposition nominated Adam Martynyuk, representative of the communists, to the position of the first vice speaker.
