On December 6 and 7 President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński will pay a visit to Ukraine. According to Oleksandr Chalyy, Deputy Chief of Staff of Presidential Secretariat that visit is a next milestone in development of bilateral relations between our countries. Chalyy also informed that joint statement “Contemporary challenges – new dimensions of strategic partnership” is scheduled to be signed by the two Presidents, president's press office reported.

During bilateral talks Presidents of Ukraine and Poland are to discuss political relations and border issues. Euro – 2012 Championship organization, European and Euro Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine are also on the agenda.

Regarding the energy security Kyiv Energy Summit and Odesa – Brody – Płock – Gdańsk pipeline are to be discussed.

Besides a number of humanitarian incentives aimed at cooperation broadening between young people of both countries shall be talked over such as Ukrainian-Polish Cooperation Foundation “Partnership for future” or International Center for Student Youth Meetings. Chalyy also mentioned that important part of Poland’s President visit to Ukraine shall be his meeting with Ukrainian students in National Academy of Public Administration supervised by the President of Ukraine.
