Party of Regions will not support candidature of Arseny Yatsenyuk for a position of VRU chairman. People’s deputies from PR Serhy Levochkin said that on Friday.
“Arseny Yatsenyuk has extensive potential to obtain any leading position. As to PR’s support of Yatsenyuk, it was not discussed yet, but I can suggest that PR will not support Arseny Yatsenyuk and any other candidature, nominated by “coalition 227,” he said.
Levochkin appreciated formation of the coalition as considers that somebody must be responsible for what is going on in the country.
At the same time he opined that, such coalition did not unite the country. Such coalition must confirm its functioning by voting in the VRU and fulfillment of election promises.
As a reminder, OU-PSD is going to submit candidature of Arseny Yatsenyuk for a position of VRU chairman.
Arseny Yatsenyuk is a Foreign Minister of Ukraine since March 2007.
