The “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense” faction will propose the candidacy of Arseniy Yatsenyuk to the post of the VRU speaker. One the OU-PSD’s leaders Vyacheslav Kyrylenko stated before the faction’s sitting on Thursday.
“I will propose faction the candidacy which is supported by the President of Ukraine, and I will propose faction’s members to support this candidacy by voting. This is the candidacy of Arseniy Yatsenyuk,” he said.
Besides, Kyrylenko has noted the he doesn’t see any obstacles in signing agreement on the coalition of the democratic forces formation between the BYuT and the OU-PSD bloc.
“We have all 72 signatures of the People’s deputies from the OU-PSD faction and today we don’t see any obstacles so that the leaders of two factions to support the agreement on the coalition of the democratic forces formation,” Kyrylenko said.
At present Yatsenyuk is the acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine. He is the third number in the list of the OU-PSD.
