The issue on gas price for Ukraine will be solved by the end of the current year, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said that today in Ashkhabad, where he is on working visit for participation in session of heads of governments of CIS countries.
“I think issue on gas price supplied by Russia to Ukraine will be solved by the New Year,” he said.
At that, PM did not specify definite price. “It will be favourable for consumers,” he said
Before 2006 gas was supplied to Ukraine at USD 50, from 2006 – USD 95, since 2007 – USD 130 per cubic meter.
