On November 17 Maritime administrations of Ukrainian and Russian sides have signed temporal resolution on order of ships passing in Kerch channel. The press service of Transport Ministry informed.
The resolution foresees exchange of data on ships movement and location, weather broadcast and storm alarm between Russian and Ukrainian services at least twice a day in order to observe and control order of ships traffic and in case of storm alarm to redirect ships to more secure location.
The single system is established for provision of secure passing of ships. The Ukrainian side provides traffic regulation of ships by “Kerch” service center; the Russian side carries out secure movement of ships by ”Kavkaz” service.
