Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated Minister of Agrarian policy Yuriy Melnyk on the Day of agriculture workers. Yanukovych has stated at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

The Prime Minister has informed that after the sitting he together with the Minister will go to the ceremonial meeting with workers of agriculture.

Yanukovych has reminded that starting from January 1, 2008 the moratorium on land sale ends. He has emphasized that “the parliament doesn’t work, so we can’t react this situation from the point of view of the law. And the legislation basis has not been prepared.”

Yanukovych has claimed that for today the political stability and stable work of the Verkhovna Rada, the executive branches of power and the President are of great necessity. “The cooperation of all these branches of power is an effective mechanism of achievement of those positive decisions which we are striving for,” he noted.

Addressing the Ministers, Yanukovych has emphasized that it is necessary to prepare for hard work.
