Today on November 12, Ukrainian governmental delegation headed by Finance Minister Mykola Azarov and Foreign Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk left for Bishkek to solve issues with Kyrgyzstan on Ukraine’s accession to the WTO.

The main task of the delegation is to agree issues on Ukraine accession to the WTO, in particular creation of joint working group on signing bilateral protocol on access to markets of commodities and services.

On Friday Viktor Yushchenko phoned Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev. They spoke about development of bilateral ties. Two leader agreed about today’s visit of Ukrainian delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit to Bishkek, Azarov and Yatsenyuk are schedulled to meet with Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiev. Yatsenyuk also expected to meet with his Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ednan Karabaev.

Ukraine has already completed negotiations with all members of the WTO working group, except Kyrgyzstan, having signed 49 protocols on common access to market of commodities and services.
