“Gasprom” Jsc. plans to sign agreement on prices for gas for 2008 and price formula for medium-term period with Ukraine. Alexander Medvedev the deputy chairman of Gasprom informed today.
According to him, gas holding is going to sign this agreement by the end of 2007. “It will be a package agreement that will include price for next year and price formula,” Medvedev said.
On eve, head of “Gasprom” Aleksey Miller and Fuel and Energy Minister of Ukraine Yury Boyko discussed in Moscow long-term cooperation in gas sphere. In particular, they discussed pricing for gas for the next year and gradual transformation for market prices for gas and its transit in 2011.
The sides agreed to continue negotiation in a week. During this time the work will be kept at level of experts.
