Cabinet of Ukraine approved conception of State program on informing society about Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine in 2008-2011. Such decision was made today at the Cabinet session.
The government charged State committee on television and radio together with other bodies of executive power to elaborate and submit for consideration to the Cabinet draft State target program of informing society about Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine in 2008-2011.
The government motivated creation of such program by lack of awareness of people about modern tendencies of security strengthening in Euro Atlantic area, transformation processes in NATO and its new role in strengthening of international stability.
This informative program will be financed by means of state budget, grants of international organizations and other resources. According to preliminary estimations of State committee on television and radio, expenses for financing of this program will comprise about UAH 300 million.
