Kyiv city chairman Leonid Chernovetsky claims that he intends never to retire. He told journalists on Monday.

“I will never retire, although formally I think to retire on pension,” the Kyiv’s mayor said. At the same time Chernovetsky notes that he expects high pension. The reason of his assumption is that for nine years he worked in the Verkhovna Rada and almost for two years he has been working as the mayor of Kyiv. “My rank is minister,” Chernovetsky emphasized.

Speaking about how long he intends to work, Chernovetsky noted: “I have always been a busy man. My head works productively as earlier; even it is more enriched with the experience of past years. That’s why, I think, that I will wait with pension”.

Chernovetsky will celebrate his 56 anniversary on November 25.
