Candidate for People’s deputy from Party of Regions Yury Myroshnychenko said about necessity to return to idea of Universal pact of national unity. He said that today in scope of the round table “Consolidation democracy: perspectives for Ukraine".
Myroshnychenko has noted that now politicians must learn how to make consensus vision of range of issues. He called Universal pact of national unity an attempt to elaborate such single vision. “It was a very important step on the way to consolidation of political elite,” he said.
Myroshnychenko expressed regret that not all political players in Ukraine participated in fixation of those agreements foreseen by the Universal pact. “The way was right. It is necessary to make conclusions and return to it,” he said.
According to him, issues on which politicians can’t find consensus must be submitted for referendum. He also noted that now coalition formation looks like a mechanic selection of 226 people’s deputies only to be in power.
Myroshnychenko said that “orange” political forces as well as all political forces in Ukraine have different programs in general. He has noted that even in case of such coalition is formed, it will not bring Ukraine good, as it will only lead to constant conflicts. This conflict is possible to solve only having used model of consensus democracy.
