Transport Minister of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovsky considers that President’s position concerning preparation for Euro-2012 is unconstructive. In such a way he commented on Yushchenko’s concern about preparation for Euro-2012.
Rudkovsky noted that it was a President’s fault that there was no legal field for development of roads. He reminded that the President had not signed yet a law on allocation of lands for strategic state objects necessary for road constructions, adopted by the VRU in April of the current year.
Moreover, according to Rudkovsky, decision on parliament dissolution had blocked further consideration of new revision of the law “On concession”.
Taking into consideration that adoption of this law is the main condition of investors to participate in construction projects on the concession basis, then the very actions of the President block preparation of infrastructure for Euro-2012.
“Before to criticize someone for slow work, Yushchenko should look at his papers and sign the law on lands for strategic state objects. Not signing of laws and blockage of legislative body demonstrate irresponsibility of the President,” he said.
"In case the President ig going to sign laws in such way, he will not be able to come to Euro-2012," he added.
