Viktor Yanukovych is confident that there are no objective reasons for significant rise in foodstuff prices. The Prime Minister said that today, adding that GDP amounts to 7,3 percent and industrial production - 10,5 percent, Cabinet press service reported.
In this connection the Prime Minister has charged leadership of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and agrarian bloc of the Government to ensure proper implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolutions concerning price stabilization at food market. The Premier stressed that the profile officials shall foresee a situation at food market and timely take necessary measures with other departments.
Besides, the Prime Minister has charged First Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to sum up weekly work on price stabilization, drawing necessary conclusions.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Slauta and Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Yuriy Melnyk have been also charged to take under control price situation on diesel oil for providing timely and efficient completion of the autumn-field works.
