On Monday the political council of the “Our Ukraine - People’s Self-Defense” bloc unanimously proposed the candidacy of Vyacheslav Kyrylenko for the post of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation. The press service of the OU-PSD bloc informs.
Earlier the candidacy of Kyrylenko for the speaker’s post was supported by the Presidium of his party “Our Ukraine”.
Besides, the political council of the “Our Ukraine - People’s Self-Defense” bloc also considered the course of negotiations with the bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko concerning the coalition formation and the results of the meeting with President Viktor Yushchenko.
