BYuT does not plan in near future any negotiations with Party of Regions. One of the BYuT leaders Mykola Tomenko said that today, commenting on statement of PR representatives concerning their plans to hold negotiations with BYuT.

Tomenko has noted that BYuT does not change its position on formation of new power in Ukraine. According to him, formation must be held in two stages. The first stage foresees coalition between BYuT and “OU-PSD” bloc, without participation of Party of Regions. During the second stage legal status of parliamentary opposition, where Party of Regions will be, must be defined.

Tomenko noted that for discussion of issue on status of opposition and adoption in the second reading correspondent draft bill, initiated by BYuT, Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko is ready to hold consultations. “No other negotiations BYuT does not plan to hold with Party of Regions ,” he said.

As a reminder, today Bohatyryova has emphasized that the Party of Regions has proposed all parties-winners to hold negotiations, and the BYuT as well.

“We have information that the BYuT can hold negotiations a little bit latter. They will tell us the time today in the evening,” Bohatyryova noted.
