Member of the CEC Mykhaylo Okhendovskiy has explained the reasons of different speed of count of votes in the East and in the West of Ukraine. ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to him, in the West the density of population is smaller that’s why the count of votes is quicker. “This is a stable tendency which was observed during the presidential elections of 2004 and the parliamentary elections of 2006,” he said.

Besides, the member of the CEC has forecast that by the end of Monday about 90% of protocols from divisional election committees will be in the Central Election Committee.
