The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine plans to sign an agreement on cooperation with the European parliament by the end of this year. Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Marmazov stated on Thursday at the press conference in Kyiv.
According to him, the preparation for the signing of the strategic agreement on cooperation between Ukraine and the European parliament is the part of European integration activity of the Foreign Ministry.
“We expect to sign this document by the end of 2007. And of course, this will give the possibility for Ukraine to improve the information exchange of police agencies, and the possibility to improve the struggle with the organized crime,” he said.
