Transport Minister of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovsky stated that in the near time there will be no significant hike for railway tickets. He said that in scope of the working trip to Rivne region.
According to him, prices increase is possible only in case of improvement of services.
As a reminder, according to resolution of Transport Ministry, from March 1st, May 1st and June 1st tariffs for railway transport were increased by 5%. Next price increase by 5% is expected in November.
In total in 2007 tariffs for railway transport will be increased by 25%. According to Rudkovsky, “Ukrzaliznytsa” plans to get UAH 390 million from tariffs growth in 2007.
