About 70 thousand of workers of the Ministry of Interior Affairs will be on duty at the polling stations on September 30. Acting Interior Minister of Ukraine Mykhaylo Kornienko stated on Monday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“On the day of the elections all workers of the law enforcement bodies will be at their working places,” he said.
According to Kornienko, all policemen, working on that day, will be able to vote at the polling stations in accordance with their registered home address. “Their colleagues will replace them for the time of voting,” he noted.
Besides, the acting Minister informed that “methodological recommendations were elaborated for policemen with explanations what measures should be taken if unforeseen circumstances take place at polling stations”.
