The Government approved draft budget 2008 today during Cabinet session. This draft budget will be submitted to the parliament on September 15. The Justice Minister Olexander Lavrynovych said that today after the Cabinet session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to him, the Government must submit for consideration draft budget to the parliament until September 15 according to legislation. The VRU in turn must accept or return it for improvement and completion. Next step is consideration of Budget Committee conclusions by the parliament. “In our case, it will be done not earlier than in late October,” he said.
After its approval the draft budget is returned to the Cabinet to be prepared for final approval in the parliament.
