Nearest week official information concerning Russian language in TV advertisings will be published. Taras Shevchenko, Head of Independent council of experts on mass media activity during elections, stated at a press conference in Kyiv.
“Now this question is being considered by the council of experts. The conclusions will be made next week,” Shevchenko said.
He explained that yesterday one of the blocs had appealed to the council of experts with the request to find out whether it is allowed to use Russian language political advertisings on air of the Crimea TV.
As a reminder, Independent council of experts on mass media activity during elections was formed in Ukraine in 2006. The council gives the Central Election Committee the estimations and recommendations concerning the activity of mass media during elections of the People’s deputies of Ukraine.
