President condoles with family of Pavarotti

President Viktor Yushchenko has sent his condolences to the family of Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti, who has died at the age of 71, president's press office reported.

Yushchenko said on Thursday his passing was an “irrecoverable loss for his relatives and friends, the people of Italy and culture. Ukrainians will always remember his arias, he said.

“Luciano Pavarotti, this exceptionally gifted artist and wonderful personality, will stay in the hearts ofUkrainians forever.”
