The decision of the NSDC on discharge of the Minister of Transport Mykola Rudkovsky and Minister of Emergency situations Nestor Shufrych doesn’t correspond to the Constitution of Ukraine, the law on the NSDC, and the law on the Cabinet of Ministers. Minister of Justice Olexander Lavrynovych stated at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
He reminded that the National Defense and Security Council was not authorized to consider staff questions, concerning the Government’s composition.
Lavrynovych also has emphasized that for a long period of time the Cabinet of Ministers has “closed eyes” at the fact that the composition of the Security Council doesn’t correspond to the law on the NSDC. “There are people in the council, who can’t be in its composition according to the law demands,” Lavrynovych explained.
