This week two working groups of NATO must hold session in Ukraine. On Monday representatives of countries-members of North Atlantic alliance must come to Kyiv to discuss realization of bilateral Action plan.
Session of military NATO experts will last up to September 6. During this time representatives of alliance will consider fulfillment of Action plan “Ukraine-NATO” for this year and will discuss main aspects of plan development of military committee for 2008.
The participants of the working groups will also visit 72d military mechanized brigade in Bila Tserkva region.
According to Yevhen Zherebetsky expert on NATO, such sessions bring little use to relations progress. He considers that for efficiency of such session Ukrainian politicians must formulate its position concerning NATO and fulfill bilateral obligations. “There is imitation of work. We play some games, mutual trainings but in fact neither President Viktor Yushchenko and his people, nor somebody else wants to NATO. Ukraine demonstrates insincerity towards NATO,” he said.
