Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych expects to guarantee starting conditions of normal situation in agroindustrial complex for 2008. The Prime Minister stated at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Viktor Yanukovych stresses the importance of preparation for the autumn-field works. “With this purpose we held a circuit sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Poltava and determined a series of measures for successful implementation of our tasks and guaranteeing starting conditions of normal situation in agroindustrial complex for 2008,” the PM said, "Cabinet press office" reported.
During the sitting Viktor Yanukovych commissioned Minister of Finance Mykola Azarov and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Mykhaylo Papiyev to provide increase of wages and pensions beginning September 1. The Head of Government stressed that it is necessary to check information concerning wage-out in some regions. “Wages are lowering against the background of tariff increase, in other words, it violates our resolution,” Viktor Yanukovych noted.
