President Viktor Yushchenko on Saturday visited the village of Velyki Sorochyntsi in Ukraine’s Poltava region to attend a fair, President’s press office reports.
“Every year the fair becomes more interesting,” he told reporters.
Yushchenko added that it had more participants this year, praising their assortment of products. He described the Sorochyntsi fair as a "nationwide event" and said it played an important role in popularizing Ukrainian products and was important for the people from different regions and with different political preferences.
