Member of the Party of Regions Vasyl Gorbal denied statement of Petro Symonenko leader of the Communist party of Ukraine that the “regions” supported his aspiration to head the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation.
Gorbal said it was too early to speak about appointment of the speaker of new parliament.
At the same time, he is sure that the communists will be present in the presidium of the parliament of the sixth convocation.
“We have got accustomed to Adam Martynyuk as the vice speaker, the presidium is impossible without him. But it is too early to speak whether the communist is able to represent the parliament,” Gorbal noted.
As earlier reported, leader of the Communist party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko claimed that representatives of the Party of Regions supported him in his aspiration to head the Verkhovna Rada of the Vl convocation. He has stated at the press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
