“Our Ukraine-People’s Self Defense’” bloc intends to appeal the CEC statement in the court, concerning the voter’s application form for home vote on September 30. Mykola Onishchuk, People’s deputy of the fifth convocation, the deputy chairman of the bloc’s headquarter on law issues stated.

“We have a negative attitude towards the CEC statement concerning voter’s application form for home vote. The CEC did not follow the law regulations on changes to the law on people’s deputies’ election. This regulations concern those voters, who are disabled and can’t come to the poll station on the day of voting because of the state of their health”, he said.

“The CEC decision allows to hold voting at home without indication of the reason why a person votes at home”, he noted. “Other voters’ rights are broken. Certain categories of citizens, voting at home, will have advantages before those, who will come to the poll station”.

“Probably, the bloc will appeal the CEC statement, as it is illegal and does not correspond to the law on elections”, the deputy chairman of the bloc’s headquarter on law issues said.
