Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych heartily congratulated sports delegation of Ukraine with acquiring the right to participate at the XXIV World Universiade of 2007 running through in Thailand (Bangkok), Cabinet’s press office reports.
“Millions of compatriots watch the events at the Universiade with great enthusiasm and expect for the successful performance of their country-men.
I’m convinced that you will justify our hopes, your achievements will contribute to the improvement of Ukraine’s prestige within the world.
I don’t hesitate that this Universiade would become a significant event facilitating your preparing for the Olympic Games of 2008.
May patriotism and passionate desire to glorify your native Ukraine assist in your sporting achievements,” the Head of the Govt’s congratulation reads.
Viktor Yanukovych wished sportsmen strong health and weighty achievements to the glory of dear Motherland.
