In Ukraine “creeping shadowing” of privatization processes takes place. President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has stated at the session of “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense” bloc, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“Practically, all transparent, competitive privatization, which could have led national and international investors to this process, has been curtailed,” he has said.
According to the President, Ukraine “has forgotten what transparent competition is”. “The national budget has received milliards of hryvnyas less,” Yushchenko noted.
He also has emphasized that foreign investments in national economy have been reduced. “I do not accept such results of the Government neither as the President, nor as the citizen of Ukraine,” Yushchenko has emphasized.
