The SPU leader Olexander Moroz named promise of political forces to cancel People’s deputy immunity cheap PR. He said that today in Kyiv at a press conference, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Moroz considers that public campaign of “Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc based on promises to cancel immunity is nothing more than cheap PR.
“Why do you swear to cancel People’s deputy immunity in street but did nothing while was in the VRU?” Moroz asked.
Moroz reminded that he is accused of strengthening of People’s deputy immunity in vain, as information about People’s deputy immunity exists in Ukrainian Constitution since 1937.
Moreover, Moroz reacting to statements of BYuT concerning cancellation of People’s deputy immunity, said: “You think that you will put politicians into prison, but what will you say when you are imprisoned?”
As a reminder democratic forces adopted a resolution on cancellation of People’s deputy immunity. As a result, leaders of “Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” Vyacheslav Kyrylenko and Yury Lutsenko have been visiting regions of Ukraine for a month to inform people of it.
