On Wednesday the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine didn’t approve the resolution on provision of people with social and acceptable dwelling. Minister of Housing and Communal services Olexander Popov informed.
According to him, the draft resolution has been sent for improvement because of disagreements, occurred with the Minister of Finance. The Ministry of Regional Construction has established the minimal norm of provision with dwelling at the rate of 12 square metres per person, Popov noted.
According to the data of the Ministry of Regional Construction, in 2007 the budget had UAH 2.4 milliard for provision of citizens with social flats. 13.5 thousand flats can be built for these means.
