The first batch of material, which will be used for ballots printing for the next parliamentary elections, at the end of the week will be delivered from the Great Britain to Ukraine. In general, 470 tones of excellent white paper, worth a total of USD 1,5 million, will be used for the elections. The Central Election Commission will pay for it, as soon as money from the budget will be received. The CEC ordered paper from abroad only because of the better quality of paper.

This year the ballots will be four times shorter than previous year. Their length will be 55 centimeters.

Last year the preparation of ballots took about two months and this year the CEC should be in time, because less than 40 days will be left from the moment of paper delivery till the date of elections.

But, according to deputy Head of the CEC’s Secretariat Sergiy Suyarko, in spite of deficiency in time, all the fears are vain.
