Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Andriy Stryjak proposes to change cardinally the law, which regulates the CCU activity. He stated at a press conference on Thursday, the ForUm’s correspondent reports.

“Regulations, adopted 11 years ago, have become obsolete in many aspects,” he said.

According to Stryjak, the working group has been already formed in the CCU. It is working on amendments to the law on the Constitutional Court and to the regulations. “First of all, the law on the constitutional legal procedure must be adopted,” he emphasized.

Besides, the chairman of the CCU said that from July 18 the judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine are on vacation. “All the judges take vacations, because quorum is necessary for the work of the Court,” he said.

Stryjak himself plans to take vacation from Monday.
