Volodymyr Lytvyn, leader of the People’s party will intend to resume majority voting system, in case he gets to the parliament of 6th convocation. Lytvyn said yesterday on 5 channel, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“For me it is necessary to be in the VRU at least for such reason as to adopt a key resolution – to cancel election mechanism on proportional system. It is necessary to implement voted system,” he noted.
Moreover, Lytvyn considers that people’s deputy must report to his voters regularly, People must have opportunity to recall people’s deputy in case he/she does not fulfill election program.
Lytvyn also stressed on right limiting of being elected not more than two times.
“I think it is necessary to fix legally that a citizen may not be a people’s deputy of the VRU for more than two convocations. The President may not be reelected for more that two terms,” he stated.
According to him, this idea is much more welcomed among people than different social initiatives,” he added.
