The Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed information that Prosecutor General Olexander Medvedko had signed a decree on discharge of Yuriy Haysynsky from the position of prosecutor of Kyiv, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“Yuriy Haysynsky is discharged from the position of prosecutor of Kyiv region,” Oleksiy Bebel, the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, said.
He reminded that last Thursday five-year term of Haysynsky’s power, as a prosecutor of Kyiv region, has expired. "His term of office has expired…," Bebel said.
At the same time, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, refused to tell the name of person, who will take a vacant position of the prosecutor of Kyiv region.
